I'll never forget my first day as an apprentice in photography. I woke up early, feeling like a kid on Christmas morning. I had been waiting for this day for what felt like an eternity – the start of my journey to become a photographer.
As I arrived at the studio, I was greeted by my mentor, a seasoned photographer with a warm smile. We shook hands, and I could sense the excitement in his eyes. "Welcome aboard!" he said, as he showed me to my new workspace.
First things first, we started with a tour of the studio. I was amazed by the array of equipment and gadgets that surrounded me. My mentor explained each piece of gear, from the cameras to the lighting rigs, and I listened intently, soaking up every word.
Next, we dove into the basics of photography. My mentor taught me about aperture, shutter speed, and ISO – the holy trinity of photography. I was fascinated by the way these elements worked together to create a single image.
After a morning of theory, we headed out on a photoshoot. My mentor handed me a camera, and I felt a surge of adrenaline. This was it – my first time shooting with a professional photographer.
